Bright Pink x Bucketfeet Collaboration
One in Eight
Following the success of The Perfect Gentleman shoe, I was invited by Bucketfeet to create a second design—this time in support of the Bright Pink campaign. Bright Pink is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising breast cancer awareness and educating women and men on the importance of early detection and proactive health management.
While researching the foundation, one statistic stood out to me: "1 in 8 women will develop breast cancer in her lifetime." That insight became the core inspiration for the design. The visual concept features one pink bra among seven black bras—symbolizing the one in eight women affected by breast cancer.
For every pair sold, Bucketfeet donates $10 to support Bright Pink’s programs. These funds help the organization provide digital tools that empower nearly half a million women each year to assess their risk and make informed health decisions.
